Trained counselors can help Medicare recipients and caregivers review current plans and compare new options, understand costs associated with different plans, and navigate the enrollment process. The SHIP office has scheduled two free events to assist residents during open enrollment:
- Open Enrollment Counseling Sessions: Friday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at RCBC’s Willingboro Campus in room 220. The Willingboro Campus is located in the Willingboro Town Center at 200 Campbell Drive on the second floor. Appointments are required for counseling sessions. To make an appointment, call 856-222-9311, ext. 1494.
- Public Presentation on Medicare Changes for 2019: Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Burlington County Library, 5 Pioneer Boulevard in Westampton.
SHIP is operated by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Burlington County (RSVP), which is supported by the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders and Rowan College at Burlington County.
