Free Shred Event In Burlington County Sunday
Residents who have been cooped up due to the coronavirus pandemic will have a chance to get rid of old files and confidential papers Sunday.
BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Burlington County residents who have been cooped up due to the coronavirus pandemic will have a chance to get rid of old files and confidential papers that have been building up at the county’s next free shred event.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Burlington County Resource Recovery Center, 22000 Burlington-Columbus Road in Florence, rain or shine.
The event is for residents only, no businesses or non-profit organizations. Identification will be required.

Only confidential files will be accepted. Residents will not be able to shred magazines or junk mail.
Paper must be placed in trunk, cargo area or truck bed, easily accessible to staff, who will remove it from the vehicle.
There is a limit of four bags or boxes of unshredded paper weighing no more than 10 pounds each. Shredded paper is also accepted.

Residents must remain in their car and wear masks at all times to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
