Garfield Park Academy Celebrates 25 Years of Helping Students

Gala Event to Benefit Students with Special Needs

Willingboro, NJ– Garfield Park Academy, a private, nonprofit school serving students with learning, social, and behavioral disabilities, is hosting the annual Eugene Morse Memorial Gala on Thursday, June 7th at the Kennedy Center in Willingboro, NJ. New Jersey State Senator Troy Singleton will be speaking to attendees. Proceeds raised will support programs for students with disabilities.

This year celebrates the 25thanniversary milestone since Garfield Park Academy opened its doors to students. The community is invited to attend the ‘Cheers to 25 Years’ gala honoring the late Eugene Morse, one of the founders of the school. We will be remembering other notable people and moments from our school’s history. Guest speaker Senator Troy Singleton, who has received many awards for his public service and served on the boards of the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County and the NJ Council for the Humanities, will bring greetings and welcome.

The event features a cocktail hour with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, tricky tray baskets, a mega 50-50 raffle, a DJ and dancing, and a photo booth. Guests will enjoy the ‘red carpet’ style entrance as Brittany Harmening Photography captures their arrivals. Doors open at 6:00 pm at the Kennedy Center, 429 John F. Kennedy Way in Willingboro.
