Get Ready for Moorestown Day!

The 42nd annual event is this Saturday, June 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Thousands of people will descend on Moorestown’s Main Street this Saturday, June 2, as the town celebrates Moorestown Day. For its 42nd annual festival, Moorestown Business Association (MBA) is planning an exciting day for all to enjoy, including delicious foods, live entertainment, and an opportunity to learn about local business that make up the vibrant Moorestown business community. The event will be held rain or shine.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., more than 300 merchant and vendor booths will line Moorestown’s historic thoroughfare showcasing a wide variety of goods and services. Local restaurants and specialty food vendors will offer tempting foods and refreshments. Families can enjoy entertainment in the Kids’ Zone located near the Chester Avenue end of Main Street, including giant inflatables and other fun games, a petting zoo, face painters, a balloon artist and the always popular Stilt Walker.

“Moorestown Day is a much anticipated tradition in this town,” notes 2018 event chair Andrew Mackerer. “Our residents really look forward to this home-town street festival, and it also draws people from all over the region who come to see the best that Moorestown has to offer.”

To help visitors get to the festivities and avoid looking for a parking space, Lincoln Technical Institute is providing free parking and a free shuttle service throughout the day. Follow the signs to park in their large lot at 308 W Route 38, (or enter from Harper Drive) and look for the Lincoln Technical Institute buses. The shuttle will drop you and your family off at the festival on Main Street in Moorestown.

Again this year, Moorestown Day will be held on the same day as the 34rd Annual Scott Coffee Moorestown Rotary 8K Run, which starts at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Moorestown Community House. Boasting nearly 1,000 participants, the Run adds to the festive atmosphere of the day.
