Get Your Winter Wiggles Out At MoorMotion
An evening of active games and fun surprises for elementary students Friday, Jan. 12, 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m., Church Street Recreation Center.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Looking for a way to warm up and have fun with your kids this weekend? Get moving to MoorMotion, an evening of lively movement and activities for elementary schoolers and their families, on Friday, Jan. 12, 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. on the third floor of the Church Street Recreation Center.
MoorMotion was developed as a creative way for youngsters to experience music, active group games, and crafts in a fun setting. Kindergarten through sixth grade students are invited to take part in the festivities. A professional DJ sets the pace for limbo and hula hoop contests, line dancing and group activities--and crafts, face painting, table sports, and snacks are stationed around the room.
MoorMotion is presented by MoorArts in partnership with the Moorestown Parks and Recreation Department. Admission is $5 per person, with a $20 limit per family. Proceeds from all MoorArts events support arts-based grants and scholarships in Moorestown's public schools.
