Girls On The Run Fall Program In Moorestown Begins Sept. 11
The 10-week program encourages personal development, team building and connection to the community.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Girls on the Run NJ East is registering girls for its upcoming fall season, which runs from mid-September through mid-November and includes a site in Moorestown.
Girls on the Run is a physically-based youth development program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.
The volunteer-led program brings together groups of 8-20 girls for a 10-week program that encourages personal development, team building and connection to the community. The program begins the week of Sept. 11.

The program combines training for a 5k (3.1 mile) running race with education and interactive discussions about critical issues that will affect pre-teen girls as they reach adolescence. Trained volunteer coaches teach life lessons to girls through fun and clever running games and workouts.
The Girls on the Run program for girls in grades 3-5, as well as the Heart and Sole program for girls in grades 6-8 in Moorestown, takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:15 p.m.-5:30 p.m. each day at Boundary Creek Park, 518 Creek Road.

Girls on the Run of New Jersey East is an Affiliate Council of Girls on the Run International, which has a network of over 200 chapters across the United States and Canada.
