'Good Neighbor Sam' to be Featured During Moorestown Library's First Monday Film Series

Moorestown, NJ -- The 1964 comedy classic “Good Neighbor Sam” is the subject of the Moorestown Library’s First Monday Film series on Monday night, Aug. 1, 7 p.m., in the meeting room.
In the movie, Jack Lemmon plays Sam Bissell, an advertising executive who loves his wife, Min (Dorothy Provine), and his family as much as he loves peace and quiet.
Bissell’s wife talks him into pretending to be the husband of her old acquaintance Janet Lagerlof (Romy Schneider), to fulfill a legal requirement after Lagerlof inherits a sizable fortune.

Things get even more complicated when Ms. Langerlof is introduced to Bissell's employer, Simon Nurdlinger (Edward G. Robinson), as Mrs. Bissell.
