Historical Society Seeks Proposals For Re-Use Of Moorestown Barn
The barn's owner is looking to donate it to the Historical Society of Moorestown.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Historical Society of Moorestown is now accepting proposals from residents and businesses concerning the re-use of a historic barn that currently sits at 37 East Main Street.
The barn’s current owner is donating that barn to the society, which plans to remove the barn in favor of a new commercial building, the society announced on Monday.
The society’s intention is to transfer ownership of the building to the person(s) or business with the re-use proposal the Historical Society Board of Trustees deems to be the best.

Anyone submitting a proposal to the society should keep the following in mind:

- The new site for the barn must be located within the Moorestown Township limits.
- Preference will be given to proposals in which the person(s) or business will have the capability in place to take the barn down and reassemble it at the new location.
- Preference will be given to proposals where the barn can be viewed by the public.
Proposals can be sent to the Historical Society of Moorestown via email at moorestownhistory@comcast.net, or via snail-mail at 12 High Street, Moorestown NJ 08057. All proposals are due by Aug. 18.
