Homesense Announces Opening Date For Moorestown Mall Store
Homesense and Sierra Trading Post are both moving into the spot formerly occupied by Macy's.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A time frame has been established for the opening of two new stores that are opening in the Moorestown Mall. Earlier this year, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) announced Homesense and Sierra Trading Post will be moving into the spot previously occupied by Macy’s at the Moorestown Mall.
Homesense is expected to open on Sept. 20, according to the company’s store locator. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. that day. It is a Canadian-based chain of off-price home furniture stores. It has locations in Canada, America and Europe.
It opened its first American store in Massachusetts last year, and later announced plans to open two stores in New Jersey. They opened in East Hanover, Ocean Township and Paramus. The Moorestown store will be its fourth location.

It has stores in Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Minnesota, Connecticut and Washington state.
The two stores will replace the Macy’s, which was one of 68 Macy’s stores nationwide that closed last year.
