Honeybees Primer, Blood Drive: Moorestown Monday Manual

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Welcome to the June 20 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight events coming up this week in and around Moorestown.

Some of the events include a primer on honeybees and a blood drive.

The Moorestown Library hosts an event titled "Why We Need Honeybees" that gets underway Monday at 1:30 p.m. The primer is intended for those aged 4 years and older. It will be held on the library's patio if the weather is clear and if it rains, it will be held in the library's meeting rooms.

The Relief Fire Company No. 3 at 1020 Neck Road in Burlington will hold a Blood Drive at that location on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Blood donations are urgently needed, according to the American Red Cross.

The Perkins Center for the Arts will host an event on Tuesday starting at 6:30 p.m. on the Evergreen Lawn in Moorestown featuring Steel Pan and Soca on the Green, Soca Sakita Fitness and the Philadelphia Pan Stars Orchestra. Besides music, there will also be food and crafts.

Then it is back to the Moorestown Library for an event on Saturday that starts at 10 a.m. and provides kindergartners through fifth-graders a primer on worms. It will be held on the library's patio if the weather is clear and if it rains, it will be held in the library's meeting rooms.
