Horse & Carriage Rides Highlight Moorestown's Candle Light Stroll

The event kicks off the holiday season in Moorestown Saturday.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Business Association’s Candle Light Stroll in honor of local vendors is set for Saturday, Nov. 30, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Horse-drawn carriage rides will be available at Main and High streets. There will also be seasonal contests, a holiday village, festive music, a visit from Santa, and special offerings from Moorestown shops and restaurants.

Mill Street will be closed at Main Street for pedestrian safety, according to the police department. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area, and to not go faster than 15 mph for the safety of event attendees on Main Street between Chester Avenue and Church Street.

Horse-drawn carriage rides will be traveling along the shoulder of Main Street from High Street east to just past the Community House.
