Interactive Exhibit Highlights Drug Awareness Night At MHS
"Not My Kid" will take place at Moorestown High School on Tuesday night, April 30.

MOORESTOWN, NJ - The Moorestown Home and School Association will present a drug awareness program for parents and caregivers in the community at the end of the month. "Not My Kid" will take place on Tuesday, April 30, 6:30 p.m. at Moorestown High School.
There will be an interactive exhibit from the Hidden in Plain Sight group It gives parents the chance to walk through a reproduction of a student’s bedroom with 50 drugs hidden in it. The group will explain what is hidden in the bedroom.
Moorestown High School Substance Abuse Counselor Cate Booth will present an overview of drug, vaping and alcohol trends.

A former college athlete who graduated from Moorestown High School will share his personal story of addiction, which began with a sports injury.
There will be a screening of the documentary “If They Had Known,” which is by kids aimed at kids, talking about the current party culture.

There will be various exhibits in the hallway. Moorestown police will have their mobile Project Medicine Drop receptacle at the event. The evening will conclude with a Q&A period.
This program is appropriate for any adults who interact with children of any age - parents, caregivers, coaches, etc.
