KEEPING THE KIDS BUSY DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS
The Sam Lepore Group at Keller Williams put together a few things to do this summer...

Along with the enjoying the warmer weather, parents begin to make summer plans for their kids. Whether it’s an away from home camp experience or something that doesn’t include overnight stays. The Parks & Recreation Facility located at: 111 W 2nd Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057, Phone: 856-914-3093, Fax: 856-914-3080. Office Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. has a variety of programs to keep the kids both engaged and active during the summer months.
The Moorestown Department of Parks and Recreation was awarded the New Jersey Distinguished Agency Recreation Service Award by theNJ Commission on Recreation for Individuals with Disabilities. This award is presented annually to an agency that has developed outstanding recreation programs and services that demonstrate a commitment to the integration of people with and without disabilities.

Some of the YOUTH PROGRAM activities include; a Summer Art Camp for ages kindergarten through entering 4th grade. This program runs Monday, August 1st to Friday, August 5th. A variety of sports clinics and camps are being offered as well this summer.
The Summer Theatre Program will be holding auditions for ages 7-13 on Monday, June 27, 9:00 A.M.to 1:00 P.M. SHREK, the Musical, Jr. will be presented at the end of the season. Show dates are Wednesday, August 3rd-2:00 P.M; Thursday, August 4th-2:00 P.M.; Friday, August 5th-7:30 P.M.; and Saturday, August 6th-7:30 P.M. Registration through June 12th or until the maximum capacity is reached.

For ages 14 to 18, the Summer Theatre Program for teens is presenting JAMES and the GIANT PEACH on Friday, July 29th-7:30 P.M.; and Saturday, July 30th-2:00 P.M. This is the second season for this program and it will be taught by the original staff of the Summer Theatre Program. The production will be directed by Sarah Dugan. Auditions are being held Monday, June 27th, from 1:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.
For the teens, both Tennis Lessons and Yoga will be offered as well.
