MOORESTOWN, NJ — The new coronavirus outbreak in New Jersey and across the nation is having vast impacts in Moorestown, including the closure of schools and many businesses.

As of Monday, Burlington County has 1,153 cases countywide, with 24 deaths and 88 residents cleared from quarantine. The total number of cases in Moorestown is now 58, with 11 residents cleared from quarantine and two fatalities.

Moorestown municipal buildings are closed until further notice. Council held its first virtual meeting last week, and the next council meeting is scheduled for April 20.
