Letter to the Editor: Frank Gilanelli Makes Case for Moorestown Board of Education
The Moorestown Board of Education elections are Nov. 4.

To the Editor:
I am seeking a seat on the Moorestown Board of Education.
My wife and I have lived in Moorestown for more than 30 years. Our son and daughter went through the school system and after earning Masters degrees, have successful careers.

I recently retired after spending more than 40 years in marketing working for companies like Subaru, Winnebago, Outboard Marine and a few others. The last 25 years I was the owner of a Philadelphia-based advertising and public relations agency that served only national clients located around the country. I’m familiar with the cost of benefits and healthcare.
Since I’m retired, I’m not running for the Board to get exposure for my employer, or add a line on my resume. I’m running because I want to use my business background to get the greatest ROI possible for the $62 million plus MBOE budget. A budget that is larger than most businesses in Burlington County.

I have no ulterior motives for seeking this position. My sole allegiance is to the taxpayers of Moorestown and I would base my decisions/votes in their best interests. Of course I absolutely want to ensure the educational values of the school system.
As a member of the Board, retirement will allow me to spend a great deal of time on behalf of the taxpayers of Moorestown.
Regards,
Frank Gilanelli
