Lions Club Parade In Moorestown Steps Off At Noon Saturday
The theme for the 58th annual parade is "Toyland."

MOORESTOWN, NJ - Thanksgiving is over, and the holiday season is upon us.
The theme for the Moorestown Lions Club’s 58th annual Holiday Parade is “Toyland.” Cash prizes will be awarded to the participants in the parade best exemplifying the theme.
This year’s parade steps off on Saturday, Dec. 1, noon at the corner of Chester and Central avenues. It will travel north to Main Street, then south on Main Street to Church Street and the reviewing stand. It will then proceed south to Memorial Field.

It will include performances by string bands, bagpipers, the Moorestown High School Band and the Liberty Band, as well as marching units and floats.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be closures on the following roads to ensure the safety of parade participants:

- Chester Avenue, between Maple Avenue and Main Street;
- Main Street, between Chestnut Street and Locust Street; and
- Church Street, between Route 38 and East Second Street.
Officers will be on location to assist with traffic. Drivers should use caution and watch for pedestrians if driving in the area.
