Live Civilly Leading Toys for Tots Drive in Moorestown

The driver is at Upper Elementary School. Toys will also be collected during the Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 7.

Live Civilly is conducting a Toys for Tots Drive at the Upper Elementary School through Dec. 14.

Community Service Club members will also be collecting toys at the Moorestown Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Moorestown Community House on Monday, Dec. 7.

The objective of Toys for Tots is to help less fortunate children enjoy Christmas. Live Civilly members Melissa and Samantha Krasner and Grace and Abby Buss are supporting this initiative locally.

“We just wanted to help,” the Krasner girls said. “There are many people in Burlington County that need help during the holidays and Toys for Tots is a great way to make kids feel happy.”

“While we were in the Community Service Club we thought about ways that we could help other children,” Abby Buss said.

“Helping families to have a nice holiday season makes us feel good, like we’re helping Santa,” Grace Buss said.

Live Civilly is a Youth Service Organization whoser goal is to get young people involved in their communities and to allow them opportunities to participate in hands-on activities.

In addition, Happy Hippo Toys is giving a 10 percent discount to anyone buying for Toys for Tots, as well as a future discount following a toy donation.
