Longtime Moorestown Resident Passes At Age 90

Thomas H. Wilks passed away on Jan. 14, 2018, at the age of 90. He was a 20-year resident of Moorestown, NJ. Thomas served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1948. He worked for Pitney Bowes Company, most recently in the Elmwood Park, NJ, office, for over 35 years.

Husband of 63 years to Ellen (nee McGrotty). Father of T.J. Wilks and Shelley Wilks Geehr. Brother of John Wilks Sr. Grandfather of Cory Wilks, Ryan Wilks and Alexander Geehr. Great Grandfather of Benjamin Wilks.
Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main St., Moorestown, NJ.

Viewing is Wednesday evening, 6 p.m.−8 p.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St., Moorestown, NJ. Internment is at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery, Mt. Laurel, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Live Civilly−Moorestown Ministerium Food Pantry, PO Box 517, Moorestown, NJ 08057.
