Longtime Moorestown Woman, Talented Seamstress Passes
Mary E. Young sewed both her daughters' wedding dresses and bridesmaid gowns, among many other pieces of clothing.

MOORESTOWN, NJ - Mary E. Young peacefully passed into the more immediate presence of our Lord on December 26, 2018. She was 77 years old and a lifelong resident of Moorestown.
Mary had a creative passion for sewing and crocheting. All of her children (and others) reaped the benefits. Whether it was making her children’s clothes when they were young, Halloween costumes, both her daughters’ wedding gowns (and bridesmaid dresses!), or making reenactment costumes, she never hesitated to create something for her family that was one-of-a-kind, just like her.
In her later years you could find her crocheting special Christmas gifts for everyone. She loved her family beyond all else and did everything she could to ensure her children were healthy and happy.
