Loose Ram Roaming Around Burlington Co. Has Been Caught

The ram, which had been on the loose since at least Thursday, was captured in a backyard.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A loose ram that roamed around Mount Laurel was caught Friday morning and reunited with its owner, police said.

Police alerted the public of a runaway ram in the township late Thursday afternoon. Officers and members of Mount Laurel's Division of Public Works safely captured the animal at 8:45 a.m. Friday in a backyard on Horseshoe Drive.

It wasn't immediately clear where the ram came from, as police did not disclose information about the owner.
