Man Accused Of Arranging To Rape Child In Burlington Co. Hotel Pleads Guilty
The man messaged an undercover agent, who was posing as a woman with a 12-year-old niece, authorities said.
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A man admitted in federal court Wednesday to arranging to rape a child in Mount Laurel.
Louis Goldenberg, 41, of Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to attempted online enticement of a minor to engage in prostitution in Camden federal court. He faces 10 years to life in prison, with sentencing scheduled for Jan. 27.
In August 2023, Goldenberg began online interactions with an undercover cop, who was posing as a middle-aged woman with a 12-year-old niece, authorities said. He continuously expressed interest in having sexual contact with the child, arranging to have sex with her at a hotel in Mount Laurel, according to court documents.

Goldenberg traveled to the hotel, where he had a reservation, on Sept. 18, 2023, authorities said. He was arrested when he arrived.
Along with prison time, Goldenberg also faces a fine of up to $250,000.
