'Get In Your Car': Man Charged With Harassment After Viral Video With Woman In Mount Laurel

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A viral video led to the arrest of a Mount Laurel man after he screamed "get in your car" to a woman multiple times in her face.

Thomas Diiorio, 40, of Mount Laurel, was charged with harassment and bias intimidation.

On Monday, at around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of Saxony Drive for a report of a dispute after an earlier situation involving children, the Mount Laurel Police Department said.

Police moved the two parties involved away from each other, and both of the parents accused the other of wrongdoing.

A video showing the situation was posted to TikTok on Tuesday.

Neither chose to pursue criminal complaints at the time.

After reviewing video footage submitted to the department on Wednesday, Diiorio was seen confronting the woman in a way that led to charges approved by the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.

He was taken into custody without conflict and then taken to the Burlington County Jail.
