Meet The Moorestown BOE Candidates Wednesday Night
The candidates for the open seats on the board of education will meet the public at William Allen Middle School.
MOORESTOWN, NJ —The five candidates running for four open seats on the Moorestown Public School District’s Board of Education have been invited to participate in a candidates forum this week.
A Meet the Candidates Night will take place in the media center at the William Allen Middle School on Wednesday night, Oct. 23, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. William Allen Middle School is located at 801 North Stanwick Road in Moorestown.
The event is hosted by Moorestown Home and School and MooreUnity, and MooreUnity will moderate. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Voters will have the chance to submit their questions the night of the event. Moore Unity will have the final decision in questions asked. Candidates will introduce themselves, and then answer as many questions as possible for about an hour.
Board President Sandra Alberti and Board Members Mark Villanueva and Maurice Weeks are all up for re-election this year. Mark Snyder will challenge them in the Nov. 5 elections.

Earlier this year, Katherine Mullin was appointed to fill a vacant seat by the other board members. She will run unopposed to fill the remainder of the one-year term.
