Holmbeck was active in tutoring, fundraising for local charities, and volunteering for MooreKids, a group that provides programs for special needs children.

Peterson was part of a small team of Interact Club students who raised $5,000 last year to support the work of the Autism NJ organization. She also participated in numerous park clean-up and environmental campaigns.

The Moorestown Improvement Association was founded in 1904, and is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in the community.
