Michaels Opening New Store Connected To Moorestown Mall
The store is moving from Nixon Drive to a portion of the mall formerly occupied by Macy's, according to a manager.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Michaels Arts and Crafts in Moorestown is on the move. Michaels will open its new location at 400 Route 38 West adjacent to the mall this week, with a grand opening celebration set for Sunday, according to a store representative.
It is moving from its location on Nixon Drive to open a new, updated store adjacent to the Moorestown Mall. It will occupy a corner of the old Macy’s space, where the furniture department once was, according to Brenda Nelson, a manager at the store. There will be no entrance from the store to the rest of the mall.
The store will be a little bigger than the store currently on Nixon Drive. Much of the merchandise will be the same, although there will be some new things coming in, Nelson said.

“We wanted to keep the store local because this is a good area for our customers,” Nelson said.
The Nixon Drive store was set to close for good on Wednesday, and everything was 90 percent off.
