Military Vets Invited To Participate In Moorestown Fourth Of July Parade

The parade steps off at noon on Tuesday, July 4. Also check here to see where you can go to see fireworks locally.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown 4th of July Parade Committee is inviting the military veterans of Moorestown to participate in this year's celebration of American freedom.

The Moorestown 4th of July Parade will take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, with a step-off time of noon. The Parade Committee feels that the crowd will respond wonderfully to seeing a float and/or marching contingent of those heroes who guaranteed that freedom. It shows ‘team spirit,’ and the spectators of the parade a sense that the veterans ‘get it’ in terms of Moorestown First.

Anyone who did time in a combat zone or otherwise, during war time or peace is invited. Assembly will be at the intersection of Central and Chester avenues. Please arrive early enough to be counted and receive your place in the line-up. Also, please wear something that marks your veteran status (military ball cap, etc.)
