Montessori Academy To Hold Open Classroom At Moorestown Mall

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Montessori Academy Delran will hold an Open Classroom for ages 3-6 years old in conjunction with the annual “Camp and Education Expo” this weekend.

It will take place at the Moorestown Mall on Sunday, Jan. 15, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to see students at work, completing the same lessons performed daily in school.

Teachers and administrators will be on hand to explain the work happening and to answer questions about this time-tested educational system.

Photo #1: Montessori Primary Directress, Marie Defonseka, gives a lesson to student, Summer Yeldell, on the Binomial Cube. This Binomial Cube is a material used by children, typically ages 3 to 3.5 years, in preparation for mathematics, specifically preparation for the cube root, the cube of a binomial. It serves as an introduction for algebra and preparation for the proof of the formula (a+b)3 at Elementary Level.
