MoorArts Holiday Arts Festival

This Saturday, December 1, 1-4 p.m. – Church St. Rec. Center

Aspiring Picassos and O’Keeffes will have their finest artwork on display at the MoorArts Holiday Arts Festival Saturday, December 5 on the third floor of the Church Street Recreation Center in Moorestown from 1-4 p.m. Exceptional student artwork, ranging from paintings and sketches to sculpture and photography, is selected from K-12 art classes in the Moorestown school district to present to the public at this traditional seasonal event.

While admiring the art exhibit, festival goers will be treated to an exciting line-up of live musical entertainment performed by middle-school and elementary-school students. The event will get underway just after the Lion’s Club Holiday Parade on Main Street. Admission to the Holiday Arts Festival is free and children are invited to take part in holiday craft-making activities at no charge. Light snacks will be on sale to keep spirits bright.

The Holiday Arts Festival is an annual event sponsored by MoorArts in collaboration with the Moorestown Township Public School District and the Moorestown Parks and Recreation Department. This event, designed to highlight the talents of the town’s youngest artists and performers, reflects MoorArts’ ongoing commitment to promoting a wide range of fine and performing arts within Moorestown schools and the community by providing venues to showcase the artistic abilities of students, teachers, and local artists.
