Two full teams of Moorestown residents invaded the Cathedral of College Basketball Saturday night.
The Moorestown fifth grade boys basketball team was invited to play at the iconic Palestra following Saturday’s game between Penn and Princeton. Moorestown Black defeated Moorestown Yellow, 30-28, in a hard fought game.

The Palestra is the home court of the Penn Quakers and Big 5 basketball in Philadelphia. It opened in 1927, and is the subject of this one-hour ESPN documentary that first aired in 2007.
