Moorestown Boys Basketball Team Nets Pair of Wins: Sports Roundup
The boys and girls each have five wins so far this season.

The Moorestown High School boys basketball team is off to a 5-1 start following recent victories over Northern Burlington and Burlington Township, according to nj.com.
The Quakers trailed early, but came back in the third quarter for a 46-42 win over Northern Burlington on Jan. 5. Dil Alston led the comeback effort with 22 points, followed by Dan Dyer with 14. Jordan Austin and Ryan McCarthy each had four points, and Jagger Zrada had two.
Moorestown was down, 21-18, at halftime, but outscored the opposition, 15-9, in the third quarter and held on for the win.

Dyer led the way with 17 points in the 70-42 win over Burlington Township. McCarthy had 16, as the Quakers jumped out to a 23-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
The girls basketball team is 5-3 after splitting its two most recent games, according to nj.com.

First, Moorestown defeated Pennsauken, 45-33, on Jan. 5, behind 11 points from Grace Hill. Caroline Muccifori and Anahita Sabet-Payman each had seven points in the win.
On Saturday, the girls fell to Haddonfield, 44-28. Caroline Mabrey dropped nine points in the loss.
