Moorestown Boys Soccer Team Advances in South Jersey Coaches Tournament
The 15th seeded Quakers upset No. 2 Rancocas Valley in the first round.

The Moorestown High School boys soccer team pulled off an upset in the first round of the South Jersey Coaches Association tournament, and now has its sights set on another.
The Quakers, which entered the tournament as the No. 15 seed, upset No. 2 Rancocas Valley on penalty kicks over the weekend, according to the bracket posted on the SJCA website.
Moorestown will visit No. 7 Cinnaminson, which defeated No. 10 Shawnee, 2-0, in the second round on Oct. 24, 3:30 p.m.

The teams finished regulation with a 1-1 tie after each team scored in the second half, according to nj.com.
Thomas Dovell scored for Moorestown, while Luis Rivadeneira scored for Rancocas Valley.
