Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club Celebrates 30 Years Of Giving

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Rotary Breakfast Club recently celebrated its 30th anniversary with a black-tie dinner at Ron Jaworski's Ramblewood Country Club, the club announced.

Dick Leuliette and Rick Young helped found the club in 1986 with a motto of “service above self.”

The dinner was organized by President Dr. Ben Blank, past President Chris Chesner and President Elect Grant Leuliette. Both Grant Leuliette and Chris Chris Chesner are second generation Rotarians.

Over the past three decades, the club has funded total scholarships over $250,000, general charitable donations exceeding $150,000, Paul Harris Foundation support over $135,000, an annual technology school/college scholarship program, an annual backpack school program, Rotary Youth Leadership Award ( RYLA) scholarships, helped select the Moorestown Citizen of the Year, helped supply Christmas gift cards to needy middle school children and their families, and Rotary District 7,500 projects Shelter Box, Gift of Life and Polio Plus.

The club will host a $10,000 dinner on April 27; the Scott Coffee 8K Rotary Run on June 3; and a Pancake Breakfast.

The Rotary Breakfast Club meets every Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m. at the Moorestown Community House, 16 East Main Street.

Guests are welcome to arrive 15 minutes early and have a cup of coffee and socialize before the meeting begins.
