Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club Donates $6K In School Supplies To Children In Need
Every member of the club participated in the drive filling 145 backpacks for those in need.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A total of 145 backpacks were filled with a total of $6,000 in school supplies, from folders to pencils, during an event hosted by the Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club on Wednesday, the club announced. Those backpacks will now be provided to Moorestown students in need in grades K-8.
The backpacks were delivered to Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development (MEND) and the school district during the event on Thursday. Those groups will then deliver the backpacks to those in need.
Every member of the Rotary Breakfast Club participated in the tradition that has gone on for over 20 years and helped more than 3,000 students, according to the club.

The Rotary Breakfast meetings are held every Wednesday morning, 7:15 a.m. at the Moorestown Community House, 16 East Main Street. Guests are welcome to arrive 15 minutes early and have a cup of coffee to socialize before the meeting begins.
