Moorestown Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Kicks off Christmas Season Dec. 7
The holiday season begins with the tree lighting at the Community House.

The holiday season officially begins in Moorestown on Dec. 7.
That’s when friends and family throughout the town will gather on the front lawn of the Community House for the third annual Tree Lighting Celebration. The Town Crier will kick things off at 5:30 p.m.
The tree lighting itself will take place around 6:15 p.m., followed by a drive by visit from Santa on the fire truck.

“When we brought this event to the community three years ago, we hoped that it would become a tradition, and based on the turnout and feedback from past years, it appears we have achieved that goal,” Laurie Palko, Board Member and Chair of the Tree Lighting Committee, said.
“Our vision is always to bring people together and bond everyone to our town,” Community House Executive Director Brad Kenney said. “With ongoing support from our Community Partners Bayada Home Healthcare and Weichert Realtors, and the donations of time and resources from so many for the Tree Lighting event, we are truly achieving our mission and I am thrilled that we are able to bring this celebration to our community.”
