The Community House is matching donations up to $10,000 through Sunday as it struggles to survive amid the coronavirus outbreak.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Community House is matching donations up to $10,000 through Sunday as it struggles to survive amid the outbreak of new coronavirus.
An online fundraiser for the Moorestown Community House has reached $50,000, and the Board of Trustees is matching all new donations of up to $10,000 through Sunday.
“We have reached $50,000 and are halfway to our goal,” Community House of Moorestown Executive Director Caryn Lynch said in a social media post. “Thanks to all who have donated and shared our fundraiser. With your help, we can do this.”

The Community House is not part of the township, and receives no government funding. It operates strictly on donations and venue rental income. It has been shut down and events have been cancelled since the outbreak of new coronavirus in March.

“Our Board of Trustees will collectively match donations up to $10,000 now through this Sunday, May 3,” Lynch said. “Donate now to do twice the good for our Community House.”
