Moorestown Council Candidates Forum Set For Sept. 26

The six newcomers challenging for three open Moorestown council seats will participate in a forum later this month, according to MooreUnity.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — MooreUnity will host a candidates' forum in the days leading up to this year’s council elections.

The town council candidates forum is set for Sept. 26 on the lawn outside the Perkins Center for the Arts, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Holding the event outside allows attendees to follow social distancing guidelines, but the event will also be livestreamed on MooreUnity’s Facebook page, and recorded and uploaded to YouTube.

With incumbents Mike Locatell, Victoria Napolitano and Lisa Petriello opting not to run for re-election, council will swear-in three new members in January.
