Moorestown Council News in Brief: Affordable Housing, Mid-Block Crosswalk

What was approved during Monday's meeting at town hall?

Moorestown, NJ -- Moorestown Council approved an ordinance on second reading and continued to spend money in relation to the ongoing Affordable Housing situation in New Jersey.

It also unanimously approved an ordinance on second reading to install a mid-block crosswalk that connects the Second Baptist Church, 319 Mill Street, to the adjacent parking lot that was approved for the church in 2010.

Council needed to approve the mid-block crosswalk because they are required to be codified in township code.
