Moorestown FEP Music, Arts And Dance Fundraiser March 22
A Music, Arts and Dance Medley fundraiser for the Friends Enrichment Program of Moorestown Meeting (FEP) is set for 3 p.m. March 22.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A Music, Arts and Dance Medley fundraiser for the Friends Enrichment Program of Moorestown Meeting (FEP) is set for 3 p.m. March 22 in the Dining Hall/Commons of Moorestown Friends School. The children involved in the program have been working on it since mid-January, according to FEP Chairperson Monique Begg.
This year’s event focuses on Martin Luther King’s legacy. The show will feature a march, and one or more skits, in which all the children will be encouraged to participate; one or more group dances, solos performed by young instrumentalists and perhaps songs performed by young talented people, who, though they have no formal training, love to sing and are welcome to sing at the FEP medley.
Signs made by FEP children and inspired by King’s legacy will be on display and will be carried by children during the march.

Since then, it has issued 1,063 scholarships to 463 children, many of them having received scholarships year after year till they move on or outgrew the program. In round figures, FEP raised $241,000.00 to pay for those scholarships.
Rooted in Quakerism, FEP was the recipient of a NAACP Community Service Award in 2017 and of a Church Women United Human Rights Award in 2006. It thrives as an outreach to the community.
