Moorestown Friends Aims For 100 Walkers At CROP Hunger Walk
The Moorestown CROP Hunger Walk will take place April 19 at Moorestown Friends School.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Organizers of this year’s Moorestown CROP Hunger Walk are looking to get 100 walkers to participate in its fight to end hunger and poverty.
The walk will take place at 2 p.m. April 19 at the Moorestown Friends School. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Bethel AME Food Pantry, First Baptist Food Pantry, and the Live Civilly Moorestown Ministerium Food Pantry.
There are one-, three- and five-mile routes as part of the walk. Moorestown Friends is hosting the event in partnership with the Moorestown Friends Meeting and Moorestown Ministerium.
Moorestown is among 1,000 communities nationwide that are coming together in interfaith CROP Hunger Walks around the theme "ending hunger one step at a time."

Many of the walkers will walk in solidarity with the millions of neighbors around the world who have to walk to live — as well as with the millions served by local food pantries, food banks and meal sites here in the U.S. These local ministries share in the funds raised by CROP Hunger Walks.
Those interested can register to walk individually or as a team with a group of friends. To register, visit www.crophungerwalk.org/moorestownnj.
