Moorestown Friends Baseball Team Advances to Sectional Semifinals

Moorestown Friends, the top seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group B tournament, will host No. 4 Marist in the semifinals on Friday, 4 p.m., according to nj.com.

Moorestown Friends advanced with a 5-3 win over No. 8 Pingry after defeating No. 16 Timothy Christian, 10-0, in the first round.

Against Pingry, A.J. Dunham had four RBI and a pair of triples, and Mitchell Mullock pitched a complete game, according to mfriends.org.

Dunham put the Foxes ahead, 3-2, in the third inning, with a bases-loaded triple. Moorestown Friends never looked back.

Mullock struck out five batters and allowed five hits in the win.
