Moorestown Friends Boys, Moorestown Girls Earn No. 3 Seeds in Soccer Playoffs

Playoff matchups were announced this week. The playoffs begin on Monday and Tuesday.

The Moorestown Friends School boys’ soccer team was seeded third in the NJSIAA Non-Public B South playoffs, according to brackets posted on nj.com.

They receive a first-round bye, and will host the winner of the game between No. 6 Rutgers Prep and No. 11 St. Joseph Hammonton on Nov. 8.

Gill St. Bernard’s is the No. 1 seed, and Timothy Christian was seeded second in the 13-team field.

The Moorestown boys were seeded fourth in South Jersey Group 3, and will host No. 13 Triton in the first round on Tuesday.

The Moorestown girls grabbed the No. 3 seed in Group 3, and will host No. 14 Westampton Tech in the first round on Monday, Nov. 4.

The Moorestown Friends girls’ team will start the playoffs on the road, as they were seeded No. 12. They travel to face No. 5 Timothy Christian in the first round of the 13-team playoff on Monday, Nov. 4.
