Moorestown Friends School Senior Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist
Alex Horn was among the highest scoring students in the state.

Moorestown, NJ -- Moorestown Friends School senior Alex Horn has been named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist, the school announced.
Horn earned the honor by being one of the highest scoring students in New Jersey, proportional to the state’s percentage of the national total of graduating high school seniors.
He is one of 16,000 high school seniors who are now eligible to apply to become finalists for 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth about $33 million.

The National Merit Scholarship winners will be announced between April and July. These scholarship recipients will join more than 315,000 other distinguished young people who have earned the Merit Scholar title.
