Moorestown High School Baseball Team to Open Playoffs at Winslow

The Moorestown High School baseball team will have to pull off an upset or two in the quest for the South Jersey Group III championship.

The Quakers will begin their quest for the title on the road as the No. 9 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group III playoffs, according to nj.com.

Moorestown will visit No. 8 Winslow in the first round on Monday, 4 p.m.

Moorestown had the better record this season, finishing 11-8. Winslow was 10-10.

The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 1 Ocean City and No. 16 Camden Tech on May 21.

The semifinals are set for May 26, with the final scheduled for May 29.
