Moorestown High School Golfer Wins Prestigious Award

After not making the team as a sophomore, Moorestown High School graduate Trey Fallows hopes to join the Coastal Carolina University golf team this fall as a Jeff Offord Scholarship winner, the Burlington County Times reports.

Fallows won the $1,500 award named after the former Burlington County Times sports writer who passed away in 2011 this year, according to the report. It honors a student athlete who is graduating from a high school in Burlington County.

Fallows told the newspaper that being cut his sophomore year motivated him to go on to have a stellar career, according to the report.

Now, he’s eyeing a spot on the Chanticleers’ golf team.
