Moorestown High School Graduate Gives Back to Sport That 'Saved Her Life'

Kennedy Hubbard was born with lymphatic malformation. She's helping build two new sand courts at Jeff Young Park.

A Moorestown High School graduate who feels volleyball saved her life wanted to give back to the sport she loves in the township she grew up in.

Kennedy Hubbard is teaming up with volunteers and the Moorestown Parks and Recreation Department to build two sand volleyball courts at Jeff Young Memorial Park, the Courier Post reports.

Hubbard was never allowed to play youth sports because she was born with lymphatic malformation, but with her doctor’s approval, she was able to play volleyball all four years in high school, according to the report.
