Moorestown High School To Host Relay For Life Event
The township's annual Relay for Life will take place on June 12.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Residents will gather at Moorestown High School to walk against cancer this spring. Relay for Life of the Moorestown Region steps off at 6 p.m. on June 12. The opening ceremony gives participants a chance to recognized everyone who's been impacted by cancer and everyone who has donated to the relay this year.
Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's signature fundraiser dedicated to helping communities combat cancer. Residents gather to walk to raise awareness of, and money to fight, cancer.
The walk is followed by a Luminara Ceremony, in which everyone touched by cancer is recognized with a Luminaria. Each light represents a life—a life taken by cancer, a survivor of cancer, or a support for a person still fighting the disease.
