The graduation rate at Moorestown High School continues to hover around 95 percent, a number it has met or exceeded each of the last four years, according to statistics released by the New Jersey Department of Education on Wednesday.

New Jersey uses a federally mandated methodology designed to provide a complete accounting of graduation rates by tracking cohorts of students over four years, starting from the time they enter the ninth grade.

Moorestown’s overall graduation rate dropped from 97.53 percent in 2013 to 95.94 percent in 2014. These are the two highest rates in the last four years for a district that saw graduation rates of 95.66 percent in 2011 and 95.64 percent in 2012. The NJDOE only provided numbers going back the previous four years.
