Moorestown High School Students Among Finalists in RCBC Startup Business Plan Competition
The finals are Tuesday night at the college's Mount Laurel campus.

Moorestown, NJ -- Moorestown High School is among the high schools in Burlington County that produced finalists for this year’s Startup Star business plan competition at Rowan College at Burlington County on Tuesday night, March 8, at the college’s Enterprise Center on the Mount Laurel campus.
Other high school finalists come from Cherokee and Shawnee high schools. There are also two college finalists. The competition began with about 70 business plan submissions.
Finalists will have an opportunity to present their business concepts to a panel of judges including:

- South Jersey Market President of TD Bank Rob Curley;
- Dean of Rowan University’s William G. Rohrer College of Business Dr. Sue Lehrman;
- Director of Business Development for Parts Life, Inc. Sheila Harris-Adams;
- Entrepreneur, owner of nine automotive dealerships and RCBC Foundation Board member Wayne Hileman;
- President/Owner of Alpha Graphics of Cherry Hill and SJimages.biz David Jackson; and
- Senior Enterprise Relationship Manager for LinkedIn’s Large Enterprise Solutions division Glenn Manko.
TD Bank Relationship Manager Katie Logan will moderate.
Rowan University Innovation Venture Fund recipients and Rowan University students Gaby Rochino, Lexi Basantis, and Megan DeGeorge will discuss their “Think Like a Girl” engineering kits they designed to teach girls ages six through 12 and up the fundamentals of engineering in an understandable and fun fashion during the judges’ deliberation.

Prizes will be awarded to winning Startup Star finalists.
The program begins at 6 p.m. with opening remarks from Burlington County Freeholder Deputy Director Kate Gibbs
The program is free and open to the public.
