Moorestown Home Broken Into, Diamond Ring Among Stolen Valuables: Police

The intruder(s) broke a glass door to get inside while the homeowners were out for the afternoon, authorities said.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Several valuables, including a diamond ring, were stolen Saturday from a Moorestown home, police said. The suspect(s) broke a glass door in the rear to get inside, according to local authorities.

Officers were dispatched at 8:17 p.m. to the 100 block of Oakmont Drive for the reported burglary. The homeowners told police they were out for the afternoon and returned home to find their glass door broken by force.

While inside, the intruder(s) rummaged through several areas, according to Police Chief Walter Walczak. A resident reported several valuables missing, including the diamond ring, police said.
