Moorestown Improvement Association Donates $5K To Community House
The Moorestown Improvement Association made a $5,000 donation to the Community House to help it stay afloat amid the coronavirus pandemic.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Improvement Association (MIA) recently donated $5,000 to the Community House of Moorestown, which is raising money in an effort to survive the coronavirus pandemic.
MIA made the donation on June 12. By Wednesday morning, the Community House had raised more than $80,000 toward its $100,000 goal as part of an online fundraiser.
The Community House is not part of the township, and receives no government funding. It operates strictly on donations and venue rental income. It has been shut down and events have been cancelled since the outbreak of the coronavirus in March.
